ViewSonic borrows the iPhone Retina Display for an Android phone, to out five more devices

The ViewSonic ViewPhone 4s on the left will be an Android handset with... a 3.5 screen with 640x960 pixels of resolution. Sounds familiar? Lawsuit pending? What are they thinking? Strikes on all counts.

We kid, but that's exactly what a Chinese news piece says ViewSonic will be unveiling at the MWC next week. Along with the dual-SIM ViewPhone 4s, another 3.5-incher, but with HVGA resolution - the 10.3mm ViewPhone 4e is said to come, powered by a 650MHz processor and again in possession of two SIM slots.

The cherry on the top, though, is a rumored 5-incher... you guessed it - the ViewPhone 5e - which sports ICS, like the other phones, and the lowly for this size WVGA resolution.

ViewSonic will also be trying to cover the tablet base with a 7" ViewPad G70 with an IPS display and 1024x600 pixels of resolution. Then comes ViewPad E100 with a 9.7" 1024x768 pixels with HDMI-out and ICS, at 620g and 9.1mm thickness. 

ViewSonic ends its upcoming lineup with a Windows slate - the ViewPad P100 with 1280x800 10" screen, and 1.6GHz Intel processor.

When will all of these ship and for how much we hope to understand at MWC, when we might spend some time with ViewSonic's hearty new portfolio.
