LG demonstrates seamless voice-to-videocall switch and streaming over LTE, girlfriends rejoice
The LTE phones that LG will release later in the year will have one very desirable feature - the ability to seamlessly switch from voice to video calls without first hanging up.

After demonstrating VoLTE to us at last year's MWC, LG is now aiming to help the poor schmucks who have ventured to shop stuff for their girlfriends remotely as well.

Its upcoming handsets will offer the ability to stream video over the fast LTE network in real time for the person on the other end of the line, taking the guesswork out of trying to shop for someone that is not in the same store, streaming those items for them to pick and choose, for example.

The seamless voice-to-videocall switch and the live video streaming over LTE will be in LG's phones that are coming this year, so we'll take the services for a spin.
