SwiftKey to provide SDK to OEMs


SwiftKey's latest keyboard app, SwiftKey X, has been downloaded more than 5 million times by Android users and is one of the most innovative keyboards available.  In a move to rival Swipe, the company announced today that is licensing their technology to OEM's.  RIM is using SwiftKey's smart language technology in the BlackBerry PlayBook's OS 2.0 update, and you can expect to start seeing it on all the major players in the future.  The SwiftKey SDK will support Android, C++, iOS, JVM (Java, Scala), Linux, Mac OS X, .NET (C#, VB), QNX/BlackBerry 10, WebOS and Windows.  With virtually all platforms accounted for you can expect to see much smarter typing on your next device!
