In addition to the high-end HTC One X, mid-range HTC One S there is one more device HTC announced today. The HTC One V is the mid-range model, coming with a Super LCD 3.7” WVGA display aluminum chassis and single-core 1GHz processor. It will run Android 4.0 and will have Sense 4.0 on top of it straight out of the box. The camera is 5-megapixel one but will feature the same ImageChip dedicated processor as the rest of the One series device, leading supposedly to improved pictures.
The unit which was available on the Press event floor was not working, so unfortunately we could not experience the device.
The availability is the same as the rest of the One series phones – something in April. No US carrier has claimed exclusivity or announced it will carry it just yet.
