In case you have forgotten, or you are not a Sprint Premier customer, the first 3D-enabled phone to hit the US, the HTC EVO 3D, and the company's first tablet effort in the US, the HTC EVO View 4G, are launching for all current and future Sprint customers today, starting 8am, when the stores open, and online.
HTC EVO 3D |
The HTC EVO View 4G, on the other hand, comes at $399, which buys you a WiMAX-enabled version of the excellent HTC Flyer 7-inch tablet, running Android Gingerbread for now, with Sense UI for tablets. Honeycomb has already been released for 7" slates, so we hope HTC is hard at work on the upgrade.
Still, you get a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, and all the HTC Scribe technology you can stomach for drawing or taking notes directly on the display with the capacitive stylus pen, which will be offered for free with the first HTC EVO View 4Gs, while supplies last, additional $79.99 of savings. The data add-ons for the tablet start at $34.99 for 3GB of 3G data, and unlimited 4G in areas where available, when tacked on an eligible voice plan.
The tablet's marketing campaign starts in full swing as well, with a cameo appearance at the BET Awards show this Sunday, the 26th, when the celebrities will use an HTC EVO View 4G, instead of envelopes, to announce the winners.
Are you getting any of these two summer jams?
