Wi-Fi only version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab to reach retail outlets on April 10th for $349

This Sunday, the Wi-Fi only variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be available at a few retail locations at the price of $349. The unit will be for sale at Circuit City, CompUSA and Tiger Direct among other places. Dale Sohn, President of Samsung Mobile, sounded thrilled to be releasing the Wi-Fi only version of the tablet. "We are excited to have the Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy Tab join our growing portfolio of Galaxy-branded devices. The 7-inch Galaxy Tab is the first truly mobile tablet on the market, allowing users to comfortably hold the device in one hand while typing or navigating the Web with the other."

Loaded with Android 2.2 and equipped with a 7 inch TFT display, the tablet comes with 32 GB of internal storage that can be increased by as much as 32GB using the microSD slot.
