“HTC EVO View 4G” trademark spotted; might not be a tablet after all

When we recently wrote about a possible device by the name of HTC EVO View making its debut at CTIA, we believed it would turn out to be the HTC Flyer tablet with a couple of bells and whistles added to it by Sprint. On the other hand, a couple of filings for the HTC EVO View 4G trademark have been submitted by the Taiwanese manufacturer not long ago and are making us think twice about what the handheld may exactly be.

After reading both submissions we found out that neither of them mentions the mysterious HTC EVO View 4G to be a tablet at all. Going through the filing for the HTC Flyer clearly defines the device to be a tablet while the EVO View 4G is classified as a portable computer for some reason. Still, this isn't enough of an evidence to entirely write out the possibility of seeing a tweaked HTC Flyer at CTIA after all. Hold on tight as we will know for sure in two weeks' time.
