Besides its 4G connectivity, what makes the Samsung Infuse 4G stand out of the crowd is its relatively huge and impressive 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display. The smartphone also brags about being the thinnest device in AT&T's lineup, which should grab the attention of most design-conscious subscribers out there. If we have sparked your interest already, feel free to check out the hands-on that we did a while ago.
Taking a peak under the smartphone's hood reveals a 1.2 GHz single-core Hummingbird processor, which is expected to perform somewhat better than the one found in the HTC Inspire 4G, but will surely lack the kick of the Motorola ATRIX 4G's Tegra 2 chipset. Still, the Samsung Infuse 4G should be powerful enough to shoot beautiful 1080p videos right out of the box via its 8-megapixel shooter.
A release date for the Samsung Infuse 4G is yet to be announced by AT&T, but we doubt it will take them long before launching the Android-powered smartphone. Froyo is what the handheld will ship with, yet we are convinced that an upgrade to Gingerbread will follow shortly after launch.
