Dil Raju planned a film titled ‘O My Friend’ with Siddhartha on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Productions introducing Venu Sriram as director. As Nitya Menon, who shot into fame with her beauty and performance in ‘Alaa Modalayindi’, they roped in as heroine for the film. However, Siddhartha reportedly demanded that Shruti Hassan be made the heroine in the movie, though her debut in Tollywood was a disaster. The film would hit the floor very soon. It is a surprise that Nitya paired up with Siddhartha in ‘180’ but got a refusal for this movie.
