Nagarjuna plans to launch Film Institute

Nagarjuna plans to launch Film Institute
King Nagarjuna bagged a big hit like ‘Gaganam’ in 2011, while he wrapped up last year with a hit like ‘Ragada’. With the success of ‘Gaganam’, Nagarjuna had indicated that he would be ready to do more and more experimental films in future. In a recent interview with a news agency, he had expressed his opinion that he had thought to start a Film Institute in Hyderabad to train the aspiring artistes and technicians of the southern India in general and AP in particular. He opined that there are no proper institutes to teach acting and other film-related aspects in Hyderabad on the lines of Pune, Mumbai and the US. “So a person learns on the job. But this is not the right way. Hence it will be on the lines of the American Film Institute, New York University, and the University of Southern California. The objective of this institute is to upgrade talent for students to compete globally,” he added. So, he was planning to start one such institute in Hyderabad.
