We got some insight about this phone's specs thanks to its user agent file, but now a lot of details are cleared up. Moreover, it's indicated that the phone internally known as the HTC Doubleshot is set to be released as the T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide.
What's even more interesting, however, is that the handset is said to offer full HD 1080p 3D recording capabilities (this is the first phone we have heard of to support full HD recording), not to mention that codecs for 3D playback are also included, which strongly hints this may be another handset with a 3D screen. The other notable specs read:
- 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8660 processor;
- 768MB of RAM;
- 3.7-inch WVGA display;
- 8MP rear cameras, capable of full HD 3D recording, as well as a VGA front-facer;
- Physical QWERTY;
- HSDPA 14.4Mbps and HSUPA 5.75Mbps support.
We don't know about you, but these are all-around great specs in our book. Even better, it's claimed that the HTC Doubleshot has a lot to offer software-wise, as it's expected to pack Gingerbread and HTC Sense 3.0.
It's rumored that this handset will be launched in July by T-Mobile.
