If jailbreaking your iPhone is meant to make your smartphone a much more versatile device, why is it that only about 8.5% of iPhone owners actually do it? Yes, if not done properly it can brick your device indeed, but in reality, the act of jailbreaking is not as complicated as some users may believe. It adds a handful of features that are unavailable on a stock device, it brings a lot more customization options, and once it is performed, it does not strip the iPhone off any of its original features.
Shedding some light on the jailbreaking matter is Jay Freeman (a.k.a. saurik) who is popular for developing Cydia – the software marketplace app that pretty much every jailbroken iPhone is equipped with. In a brief 5-minute video, Jay shows off a few of the cool things that a jailbroken iPhone can do and tries to show people how cool it can be to roll with the jailbroken wagon. We would also like to point out that what you see being demonstrated is just the tip of the iceberg, but all of you who have already jailbroken their devices know what we mean. Feel free to check the video out, and if you happen to already own a jailbroken device, why don't you share with us in the comments what you like about it the most?
