Surely it has been a while since we’ve reported anything about the Motorola Bravo, especially when it’s one of those mid-range devices lost in the greater scheme of things, but there might be some hope for certain people still handling one.
Motorola seems intent on getting Froyo onto the device, which still happens to sit on Android 2.1 Éclair, but at least they’re trying to recruit some guinea pigs for a pre-release software update. Although it’s not guaranteed you’ll be selected as a beta tester for the Android 2.2 pre-release software update, you can still give it a shot by registering through their Forums web site. Approximately 1,000 Motorola Bravo owners will be selected to test drive the hopeful update – so you’d better jump on board before they’re all taken.
In the meantime though, other owners can sit idly and wait until Motorola fine tunes the software update so that the final transition to Froyo will be a smooth one.
