Sprint's Kyocera Echo M9300 receives its FCC certification

Sprint's Kyocera Echo M9300 receives its FCC certification
Although we’re still in the dark regarding the Kyocera Echo’s official launch date, you kind of get the hint that it shouldn’t be too far away from now since it’s being heavily advertised on Sprint’s web site – and even more now that it has officially been blessed with its FCC certification.

Just as expected, the handset is coming along equipped with a CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A radio and has been given the model number of M9300. As much as some were hoping to see WiMAX support, it’s not surprisingly left out of the mix, so it’s anyone’s guess as to when we’ll see a 4G enabled dual-screen device at this point. Nevertheless, you’ve still got the customary set of other items such as 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on board as well.

In any event, the only thing left to complete the Echo’s puzzle is an exact time frame on when it’ll be launched. However, at least you can start saving now since the device will run you $199.99 with a 2-year contract when it goes on sale.
