Motorola’s Twitter account posted the good news, and more importantly, we're hoping that they're going to follow through with their promise by releasing an update that actually brings support for Flash within the time frame that they initially mentioned back in February – which was mentioned as being available within a few weeks after the launch of the tablet.
Specifically, the update is being sent out in phases starting tonight, but it’s unclear how long some owners will have to wait before seeing that notification pop up. Nevertheless, the update will prepare the XOOM by giving it the specific enhancements to support Adobe Flash Player 10.2 – so no Flash just yet
As much as owners will be ecstatic about getting it soon, they’re probably going to be even more impressed if it's released on time. In any event, it’ll only strengthen the Motorola XOOM’s stance as being a highly prized tablet.
