Two weeks ago, we
shed some light on Samsung's yet unnamed “4G LTE smartphone for Verizon” by sharing some photos of a leaked unit with you. Back then, it was not really sure what name the Android-powered smartphone was going to bear.
Stealth or
Stealth V were two probable options, and honestly would have sounded pretty cool, but a tipster of ours later suggested that Samsung's LTE smartphone was very likely to hit Verizon's shelves as the
Samsung Droid Charge. At that time we had no way of saying whether the claim was authentic or not, but a recently leaked photo from Verizon's database seems to confirm the tipster's words.
Unfortunately, we are still unaware how much the Droid Charge is going to retail for when it becomes available. No release date for the smartphone has been announced yet either, but we will be keeping you updated so stay tuned.
