We probably should have expected that, right? After AT&T announced its plans to buy T-Mobile, now it becomes clear that the LG Optimus 3D, which is to be released by AT&T with the LG Thrill 4G name, has received FCC's approval with T-Mo's bands. In all honesty, we have absolutely no idea whether this has anything to do with the proposed AT&T buyout of T-Mobile, but the facts speak for themselves.
Usually, when a device visits the FCC, its launch is imminent, so we can expect some kind of big announcement from Magenta in the coming days and weeks. As of now, it's officially known that T-Mo is to offer two upcoming LG devices - the LG Optimus G2x (our hands-on here) and the T-Mobile G-Slate (hands-on).
