Cellular South to offer Wi-Fi only version of the Motorola XOOM 'soon'

Cellular South to offer Wi-Fi only version of the Motorola XOOM 'soon'
Regional carrier Cellular South put up a web page on its site to promote the fact that the Motorola XOOM is 'coming soon' to the carrier. And while the site lists all of the features of the Honeycomb flavored tablet, it also gives us a clue that it will be the Wi-Fi only variant of the XOOM that Cellular South customers will be able to purchase.

On the web page is a number of bullet points including one that mentions that Cell South customers can connect the XOOM to the internet via Wi-Fi or through a Cellular South Mi-Fi device. While the Wi-Fi only Motorola XOOM does not require a signed contract, the Cellular South Mi-Fi requires a signed 2 year pact.

Unfortunately, the web page fails to display a price tag for the Motorola XOOM, Mi-Fi combo although we know it can't be lower than the $599 price that the carrier is asking for the Wi-Fi only version of the XOOM.
