French carrier SFR issued an official statement that informs its subscribers that the HTC Sensation is delayed. According to the carrier, it's yet unknown when the HTC Sensation will get a new release date in France, but it's specified that the handset won't be released before the end of next week.
Originally, the HTC Sensation was scheduled for a May 12 launch in this country. According to SFR, the cause of the delay is a software update by HTC.
It's yet to be seen whether the HTC Sensation will be launched on schedule in the UK (i.e. on May 19), where its exclusive carrier is Vodafone. Rumor has it that the HTC Sensation 4G, which is the T-Mobile version of this quite exciting handset, will be released on June 8.
