We all know that Lenovo’s 10.1” Think Slate (aka ThinkPad Tablet) will sport an interesting convertible design combined with a nifty alternative input method with its stylus, but looking further down in the leaked roadmap, it yields a smaller sized 7” tablet with Honeycomb in tow. Interestingly enough, this smaller bundle of joy isn’t messing around with specs – especially when it’s expected to flaunt a dual-core ARM processor and an impressive 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. Although we’re presented with a tiny rendered image of the device, it’s more likely to be nothing more than a simple placeholder for right now – so don’t be surprised to see something totally different down the road
Sure we’re getting a solid dose of Honeycomb based tablets right now, but this 7” model is stated to come along with “Le OS” – which seems to be Lenovo’s custom interface running on top of Honeycomb. So far, it’s pegged with a Q4 launch based on the roadmap, but it’ll be interesting to see how things progress in the coming months.
