According to some info that showed up on Forbes, Best Buy is to deploy iPads to all of its sales staff. To be more precise: a person who is said to have "knowledge of corporate mobile device deployments" claims that one of the major US electronics retailers, which operates about 1100 stores in the country, is to provide all its sales staff with Apple iPads, and by the looks of it, Best Buy fits the deal quite nicely. First, the company has just over 1000 retails stores; secondly, this may come as an extension of its "Connected Store" vision, which involves giving mobile devices, including iPads, to its employees in 27 of its stores; and thirdly, Best Buy is an Apple partner with its distribution of the original iPad from last year. As of now however, Best Buy has neither confirmed, nor denied the rumor. It also isn't clear which version of the product the employees are going to get, but whichever it is, it'll undoubtedly be appreciated.
To all Best Buy sales staff out there - are you excited by the prospect of getting an iPad for you selling lots of goods throughout the year?
