In honor of the release of Square Enix's Final Fantasy III on iPhone and iPad, the game company has put a bunch of its popular iOS games on sale. We've put the spotlight on the iOS-exclusive role-playing game Chaos Rings, but you can find lots of games on sale for a limited time by searching for Square Enix in iTunes. Meantime, read about Chaos Rings and a few other discounted offerings below.
Chaos Rings features all kinds of hidden stuff, including secret bosses and weapons and multiple endings depending on how you play. The story is different for each of the four sets of characters who are forced to enter an arena and do battle with one another, but you won't know the whole tale until all four couples' stories have been told.
Liqua Pop includes some interesting strategy in addition to its fast-paced water-smashing gameplay. Clearing drops at the same time is good for serious bonus points, so delaying droplets from exploding is to your advantage – provided you can avoid the risk of losing the game as you mess with the delay on your droplets. Likewise, you can detonate them all at once with a shake of your device.
That's about all the app does, though, which is nice in a “less is more” kind of way. You can also Facebook chat with other mobile users, as well as share pictures in chat through the app.
