Mumbai: Success and fame doesn’t come for free. And who better than director Abhinav Kashyap can tell what price one has to pay to maintain them. The director, who made his debut with Salman Khan’s masala blockbuster ‘Dabangg’ had to make a tough decision off late. He had to choose either Salman or Shah Rukh for his latest. Apparently, Salman was annoyed with Kashyap and ended up saying, “It’s my way or the highway”.
Buzz has it that King Khan wanted to sign Abhinav Kashyap for his next project. And Salman wanted Kashyap to do ‘Dabangg 2’ with him.
The filmmaker, who is the brother of director Anurag Kashyap had little choice but to chose Salman, his godfather for his next venture.
While talking to a tabloid, a source close to the director revealed, “The shooting of ‘Dabangg 2’ starts in December 2011. As for SRK’s film, he has still not been able to lock the script. The SRK project is still far away.”
Just as when news of the two Khans reconciling for good were doing the rounds, news of their freshly sprung enmity seems to have taken a new dimension
